Sometimes the people we love can disappoint us, right in the middle of an event, at the dinner table, or on a date. How do you handle this? Do you blow, ruin the event, cry, or forgive and forget? What’s the best option? Can you defuse your anger/hurt, or do you destroy your entire evening, and most likely everyone sitting at the event? Are you able to bring yourself around, or will you pout and waste an evening? This can happen to us in an instant and can be avoided as quickly as it began. Stop, take a deep breath, and slowly repeat a calming word to help defuse anger. Try it the next time you feel yourself unraveling… It works for me. 😇
