We love social outings. Interesting enough, some of us are more social than others, but it is so important to plan and execute periodic outings. Behold the top five reasons why the Merries practice this as often as possible:
5. Build a sense of community: Bringing people together leaves a positive impact and creates other opportunities to do so.
4. To keep us sharp: Planning and being detail oriented is a repetitive and an effective method to practice in some way to be thinking and aware regularly.
3. To combat loneliness/stay busy: This has been our motto individually and together since we experienced our losses and reminds us to move in a positive direction.
2. Being social enhances mental health: We look forward to at least seeing and interacting with each other which enhances our moods.
