Grandchildren

I have five grandchildren; all of them are different, and yet the same in many ways! They all enjoy attention sometimes as a group, but sometimes individually. This week, Morgan asked me to help her clean her room. I imagined myself cleaning while she sat and listened to music and talked with me. I was pleasantly surprised when she said, “Grandma, I want to learn how to clean!” 

I showed her how to wash clothes, do heavy cleaning in the bathroom, steam the floor, and remake the bed. While we worked, we talked, laughed, sang, and danced for hours. What an amazing time, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and the next day, she called again to finish! Who would have thought we could bond over cleaning, and have such an amazing time 😍💖
