Grief can sometimes be described as the loss of something, the loss of someone important in our lives or the loss of job , house / home …. Grief disrupts our sense of normalcy and can lead to feelings of insecurity, and loss of control, which are common triggers for anxiety. It has been my experience that anxiety is a common experience felt during the grieving process . Here are some of the strategies that I used to combat grief induced anxiety …..
1.Educate yourself. 2. Stay Positive ( practice saying , I can and yes, to activities events etc .) 3. Exercise on a regular basis. 4. Sleep (at least 7- 8 hours ) 5. Eat a well balanced diet ( ha ha who can do that when you’re upset ). 6. Teach yourself how to RELAX . 7. And above all BE PATIENT with yourself ….. sounds so easy, well it’s not ! There are many other strategies. These worked for me. Do your research . Try one thing at a time , for at least 15 days , see what works for you . It’s up to you , but you must take the first step …. My advice …. Just Do It

So very true
