In the beginning, grief is relentless, never stopping, just pouring over our psyche. We cry, can’t get out of bed, and become paralyzed by grief. As time goes on, we feel some respite; it doesn’t take over all of our thoughts. We do see the sun if only for minutes, giving our mind time to think, heal, and yes, sometimes laugh!
We need to capitalize on these moments of joy in order to bring happiness and meaning back into our lives.
